I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to best meet client needs with a special interest and training in mindfulness-based therapies such as MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) and Meditation and Psychotherapy.   Where appropriate, we may choose to explore self-compassion and body awareness as pathways to support your work through past trauma, feeling “overwhelmed” or unable to connect with joy in your life.  My training in Somatic Experiencing therapy can frame our work if we choose to use a more body-centered approach. Whatever the approach, we work together to set your goals and develop a plan that suits your individual needs.

 By applying my special interest in Spiritually-integrated Psychotherapy, I also assist individuals in “making meaning” of their lives and navigating significant life transitions. Together we refine your self-awareness and inner wisdom as key foundations for personal growth.

I support adult clients navigating a variety of issues including: mild to moderate depression & anxiety, relationship (including betrayal trauma/infidelity) & parenting challenges, workplace /return to work stress, health & chronic pain, grief & loss, self-esteem & self-acceptance, life transitions, life stress, as well as issues unique to aging women.

FEES:  $150 per hour plus HST – On-line payments are made via e-transfer.  An initial 15 minute telephone session is available upon request and is complimentary.  Email me through or call 226-476-2650 to book this option or to discuss any other aspect of my service.  Please note that I am providing individual and not couple/marriage therapy at this time.

On-line Video Therapy via Zoom: Please contact me via email or telephone to book your free 15 minute initial consultation. Please provide preferred days and time slots when you contact me so that I can more efficiently suggest appropriate times and book our session.

Telephone Therapy: If you are experiencing “zoom fatigue” or have less than reliable internet service (cottage for example) telephone counselling can be good option.

In Person Therapy:
NOTE: I have no plans to offer in-person therapy at this time but will continue to re-assess the COVID-19 situation as it evolves.

On Foot Therapy: We can meet at a local trail of our choice for our session (within 20 minutes of downtown Kitchener or Waterloo) and the fee will be $250 per hour. Please be aware that confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in any public setting.
