Grounded in life experience, my client-centered approach to counselling is guided by the client’s current needs and goals. I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches with a special interest in mindfulness-based approaches such as MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) to effectively support client change.  By applying my special interest in spiritually-integrated psychotherapy, I assist individuals in “making meaning” of their lives and in navigating significant life transitions.  I  support adult clients through a variety of issues including: mild to moderate depression, anxiety, workplace stress/return to work, grief & loss, parenting, relationships, self-esteem & body image, stress management, chronic pain, transitions, as well as issues unique to aging women.
